My favorite memories
always seem to have
you in the center of each
when I think of you
there will always be a
smile.
But when you told me
you didn't feel the same way.
It felt like getting
caught in the rain
unexpected, unwanted
standing there frozen
as your words sunk in
Drenching me in heartbreak.
To be honest I should've
seen this coming.
The skies of our relationship
had been cloudy for days now.
